Shannon is the recipient of the prestigious Custom Home Builder Adaptive Reuse Award, making her the only designer in the area to achieve this honor. She has been acknowledged for her contributions to historic preservation by the City of Los Angeles and Los Angeles County. Shannon Ggem was humbled to be selected to design a suite for immunosuppressed children and their families at Ronald McDonald House through the American Society of Interior Designers. She recently had the opportunity to reimagine a Boys and Girls Club for the Conejo Valley, and has also participated in the Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts and the Wattles Mansion show-house.

As an associate member of the NKBA, American Institute of Architecture (AIA) and the Institute for Classical Art and Architecture (ICAA), Shannon Ggem enjoys recognition in both local and national press. Architectural Digest, BBC, Forbes, LA Times, Cottages & Bungalows, Today, Country Living, Apartment Therapy, ABC, HGTV, and NBC are highlights. Shannon is also a classic trend reporter for the interior design industry, product manufacturers, and DesignHounds.
